Back in Action and a {Giveaway}

I realize that it's been about two weeks since my last post.  I promise to make it up to you in the next couple of days.  It has been a crazy couple of weeks for me.  My sister is getting married in a week and a half and I have been helping my mom get things ready for that.  Also, her bridal shower (that I am hosting) is this Saturday.  My husband has been out of town for a week and won't get back until Friday.  So, in a nut shell I have been a little overwhelmed lately.

Even with all of these things though, I have been crafting and will show you what I've been up to a little at a time.

First, I wanted to ask you a favor (there may be a little something in return)

I have been toying with the idea of making and selling hair accessories.  Be honest with me.  Would you buy these?

Which ones do you like?  What other colors would you be interested in?

Leave me a comment with some feedback and you will be entered to win one of these lovelies.

It gets even better!  I am actually going to give away TWO!!!  So leave me a comment and make sure you are following my blog.  Easy enough right?  Make sure to comment by Friday, Nov. 12 because that is when I will choose my winners.

Thanks for your help and patience with me.

  1. I love #5 and #1 the best. I also love the elasticized headbands, but my daughter is too old for them. The foofy things on them are darling, though! Black is good, also brown, and all shades of pink. Also a barn red would be good -- something that's not the bright red.

    So so cute, once again! :)

  3. I think they are really cute and you probably could sell them. I think it's about finding a place to sell them though that hasn't already been saturated with them. It seems like almost every store sells homemade bows, you know? But they definitely are cute. I should win both! one for mags and one for brinn.

  4. My personal favorites are #3, #5, and #2. I have 4 girls so I am always looking for cute hair accessories. As far as color goes-right now I am looking for bright fall colors, mainly some red, orange and brown and of course with girls pink is always a must! :) Good luck!

  6. My personal favs are 5, 1, and 2. I agree with Danielle, I think UT and even Etsy are getting a little saturated with hair accessories. But if you can find something that is unique you could really do great. You have such great ideas and talents!

  7. In all honesty I do not like 4 and 6. I have seen instructions on how to make number 5 and love it. I do like all of the other ones besides 4 and 6 but 5 is my favorite!

  9. I think you could sell them if you had a good market and they were reasonably priced (just because they are already sold so many other places). I really like 1 and 3. Cute!

  11. I like #5 as well! Makenzi loves headbands so these would be a compromise between the bows I like and the headbands she likes! I'm not picky bout the color! My kids have all colors of clothes so anything goes!

  12. I like #1 because it looks the most realistic. I love #2 because it looks even more versatile, like it would be great for hair or on clothes. Then I like #5, in any color!
