Anthropologie-esk necklace

I was browsing through my reader when I stumbled upon a great tutorial from Little Miss Momma for the cutest pom pom necklace.

She uses the same method that I used to make Lillie's poofy flower.  I love the simplicity of it and knew that I HAD to make one for myself.  I bought this necklace at Kohl's on clearance because I knew I would need a chain for the necklace but couldn't find one that I loved.

Insert ugly necklace here.  Ok, maybe not THAT ugly, but not something I would wear.  I'm not a yellow kind of girl.  The best part is that there are a ton of chains so I can make more than one necklace out of it.  So I took it apart and used one of the chains on my necklace.

I pretty much used the same tutorial that little miss momma used, but I added just a little Jonie to it.  I had these pearls in my stash and thought it would add a little "fancy" to the necklace.  I love the way it looks.  I arranged the individual flowers on the felt the way I wanted them to look.

Then I hot glued it on the felt .  The chain is attached and it's ready to be cut out.
Here I am wearing it.

I wore it to my family Christmas parties and it was a hit.  I know I love the way it turned out.  I am thinking I am going to have to make more!

  1. Of course you will need to make more... I can think of an extremely tall Aunt that needs one. Just in case you need places to send them when you make them. (I'm always helpful like that you know)
