They are so simple to make. All you need is some resees heart chocolates, tootsie pops, cardstock paper, googley, eyes and some hot glue.
To make the wings, I traced two hearts onto the cardstock with their bottoms overlapping. It created the perfect place in between the hearts to glue my sucker stick to. Then I glued the chocolates onto the wings, glued the eyes on, and tied the pipe cleaner onto the stick the create antennae.
They are super easy and really inexpensive to make!
Also, thanks to everyone that participated in the Point of View linky party this month. There are a lot of really cute projects over there. If you haven't looked already, go check it out.
I decided to feature very sweet and simple heart garland from Beauty & the Beard. I love the blue mason jar as a vase too. It just looks cozy and fun to me.
Next moth's theme is "Green" and as always you can interpret that however you would like. We will post our projects on the fourth Friday of March, so you've got some time to get those projects done.
thank you so much for featuring my little heart garland! you are too sweet! have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI love your little butterflies! Talia's birthday is the 13th so I might just make these as her treat to take to her class at school! So fun and totally easier than baking!! You are so clever!!
