Mrs. Smith's Pies Review and Giveaway

This post brought to you by Mrs. Smith's . All opinions are 100% mine.

It's that time of year where families reunite, memories are made, and delicious food is brought to the table.  There always seems to be something pulling me in one direction or another, when actually my favorite part of the holiday is being able to just sit and chat with family instead of spending time worrying about preparing food in the kitchen.  This is where Mrs. Smith’s pies come in handy.  I decided to give the Apple Pie a try.

I was a little skeptical at first of the pre-made and frozen pie, especially when I looked at the box and it said that it would be ready in 30 minutes.  Really?  30 minutes?  I figured it was worth a try and boy am I glad that I did.  All it took was for me to take it out of the freezer, preheat the oven, stick it in for 25 minutes and BAM! it was done!  The smell while it was cooking was intoxicating and delicious.  My husband and I couldn't wait to try it.

That pie was delicious!  We couldn't believe that we could have such a yummy dessert ready in such a short amount of time.

It only getsbetter though.  Not only are Mrs Smith's yummy, they are a company that is willing to give back too.  I love supporting companies that are willing to give back.  For every pie that they have sold in November and December, Mrs. Smith's gives $1 to Operation Homefront.  They also provided pies during Thanksgiving to Operation Homefront as well.

One other thing that I thought was really cool about Mrs. Smith's is that they have a website that provides a holiday e-card for you to use and send to any of your friends and family members.  If you haven't already sent out Christmas cards, you should definitely just go with the e-card option.  It is affordable (free) and fast!

I would love for you to give Mrs. Smith's pies a try, and luckily for you, Mrs. Smith's agrees!  They want to give one of my readers a coupon good for a free pie and you get to choose whichever flavor is your favorite.  All you need to do to enter is leave a comment below telling me which flavor of pie is your favorite and why.  In addition to giving you a free pie, the winner will also have a $20 donation made in their name to Operation Homefront by Mrs. Smith's pies!  The giveaway will last for one week and the winner will be announced.

Deep Dish Dutch Apple Pie with caramel is my fave. Caramel and apples are great together.

I'd love to try their Peach Pie! Peach has always been my favorite but hardly ever is around for me to eat and I could never make one myself. Haha!

Peach is my favorite but I never get it because everyone likes the other flavors better.

The one I would most like to try is the Deep Dish Dutch apple Pie because I am always looking for a simple alternative to homemade apple pie.

I want to try the Mrs. Smith's Classic Blueberry Pie because I have not tried that variety before. We usually just get the Pumpkin or Apple.
