The past 9 days, my husband has been gone on a hunting trip to Missouri. I decided that I wanted to do a project while he was gone to #1 keep myself busy, and #2 to have something to surprise him with. Our front room has been needing to be decorated for a while now. It needed some color in a big way. I was tired of all the neutral colors. I took the plunge and went for it.
Normally I use reds and greens because they are my comfort colors. I know how to use them and it is easy for me. Not this time. I went with this instead. (It's pretty close to what I used.)
These are the before pictures:
And now, the AFTER!!!:
I am really pleased with the way everything came together. I will have how-to's on a couple of the things that I added in the room and show you step by step how I put it together next week.
As for now, I am going to go enjoy my husband being home with some family time.
