Must Make Monday #3 and a surprise

Sorry for the late post, but I will make it up to you at the end!

Here are some fun features for today.

Do you remember the ladies from Everyday Art?  Well they whipped up this darling little dress using an old sweater.  I am a sucker for pink on a little girl.  This dress looks nice and cozy.

Check out this cute apron that Erika from The Harwoods made.  I love the colors and the ruffles.  Maybe if we ask nice enough, she'll get us a link to the pattern she used :)

Now, to make up for the late post, I have a little surprise for you.  Overstock.com recently contacted me to see if my readers would be interested in a discount.  Of course I said YES!  If you've never heard of overstock.com before, let me show you some things that are especially cool.

Pink is my favorite color. It always has been and probably always will be. Also, pearls are my very favorite accessory to wear, so these earrings are the perfect fit for me.
I'm a pretty tall girl. At 5' 8" I don't wear a lot of heels. I naturally drift towards wearing flats. Check out these suede beauties. Purple? Yes please!

I love to decorate with the color red.  When I saw this rug, I fell in LOVE.  It is an indoor/outdoor rug.  I am thinking that I want it to be able to use on our patio out back.  Wouldn't that just look so GREAT?!

There are tons of other awesome indoor/outdoor rugs to choose from. Check these out.  The prices are very resonable AND on top of that, you can use the discount code I'm gonna give you to get an additional 10% OFF!!!  And did I mention that overstock only charges $2.95 to ship your entire order no matter the size?  Because that is a pretty awesome thing too.

Head on over to Overstock.com and see for yourself all of the awesome things you can find.  They have everything from electronics to clothing to faucets.  When you find what you are looking for, why not take an extra 10% off by using this:

10% OFF code: 121745
(exludes all movies, books, and electronics)

You can also use this code: 202234 to get free shipping on electronics.

All the ideas and opinions expressed are my own. No monetary compensation was received for doing this post, however, I was provided with a discount code.

If you have a project you would like featured here on Just Between Friends, send me an email with a link!  I would love to see what you've got!  joniemarie85@gmail.com

Must Make Monday #2

Are you ready for round two?

I just love how fresh these towels look.  Gina over at Temporary Nest shows you just how easy these are to make.   I have always loved the look of citrus in a kitchen, so this lemon print is perfect for any kitchen.

This garland is beautiful.  I found it at A Pretty Life in the Suburbs. It is made from yarn balls and glittery hearts.  I can't wait to see what else she puts on the mantel with it.  I may just have to pull out my stash of yarn and give this a try.

When I was really little, my dad used to drive the Wonder Bread truck.  They sell all of the hostess products (twinkies, ding dongs, cupcakes, ho-hos etc).  I have always loved the hostess cupcakes, so you can imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon these amazing cupcakes over at Fudge Ripple.  I am so going to have to make these!  I just LOVE the hearts on them too!  They are so festive. You can find the recipe here.

Aren't these all so great?!  I may just have to go get the supplies to make them all this week.  Go ahead and grab a button if you were featured.

Must Make Monday #1

I have some awesome projects to feature here today.  I am definitely going to be trying these out.

First I have this:
Have you ever heard of the blog Ameroonie Designs?  It is run by Amy, who I kind of sort of met.  We both were at the cookie exchange and, well....I was coveting her bag the whole time. (There. I said it.)  I am in love with all of her amazing pillows and this one is no exception!  I have never been one to decorate for Valentines day, but I really like the simplicity of this pillow. Although I think I may try it with red felt and white thread.  Hmmm...maybe.

Next up is this amazing clay rose magnet.

I have been wanting to make magnets for awile now.  We just don't have any, but I hate using the ones that are just ads.  So when I ran across this tutorial at You Seriously Made That, I knew that I seriously had to make some :)

And last but not least, this monogram.

A project that I have had in the works for a while now is my master bedroom.  On one of my walls I wanted a monogram surrounded by family pictures.  I stumbled across this cute little window at Trey and Lucy and had a lightbulb go off.  This is what I have been looking for (or something similar.)  I am thinking that I love the bird and this monogram so much.

I love the crafty-blogging world.  There is so much inspiration out there.

What do you think?  Are these Must Makes?  They are for me!
